TIP FOR YOU!

Do you know when €20 ≠ €20?

If the employer will increase the value of the meal allowance within the maximum permitted by law, for example by €20 in the total monthly amount, (currently the maximum meal allowance is €6,80), from this amount the employer does not pay any contributions to insurance companies, and the employee is exempt from tax and contributions to insurance companies. If you would, for example, this increase by €20 was reflected in the salary increase of the employees, employees would from the increased amount, less remained in the net after taking into account the deduction of tax and levies and the company, this amount would cost almost twice as much compared to the solution through the employee meal allowance.

So €20 in food allowance is ≠ €20 in salary.
