What is the minimum value
of luncheon vouchers?
As of April 1, 2009 the value of luncheon vouchers must be equal at least to €
2,70 / Sk* 81,34 (75% from € 3,60 / Sk* 108,45).
Are employees entitled to a
voucher during the holidays, sick leave or public holiday?
Through holidays, sick leave or public holiday the employer can give food
vouchers only if it is anchored in the collective agreement or internal directive.
Otherwise the expenditure is beyond the Labor Code and for purposes of the
Income Tax such expenditure cannot be regarded as tax expense of employer and it
represents a taxable income for the employee.
What to do if a voucher is not accepted in a
certain operation?
It is necessary to find out whether the vouchers
are valid and correct to use. If the operation has the sticker with indication of the vouchers on the door
then it accepts such vouchers. If there is no such mark it is likely that the
operation is not our partner and therefore does not accept such vouchers. If
you wish your operation to accept your vouchers, write us its name, address and
contact of the Manager on marketing-sk@edenred.com and we will ensure that a
given operation accepts such vouchers.
What is an information voucher and what is its
purpose?
Production technology of packaging vouchers in
envelopes requires that each envelope must, apart from catering vouchers,
contain also one voucher with information on the contents of the envelope. This
voucher is first in line in an envelope, has no nominal value and is not
intended to be paid with. It will also not be accepted for reimbursement in
Edenred.
