We celebrated Earth Day again
As every year, also this season the whole Edenred Group celebrated the Earth Day and organized various voluntary events named “Edenred goes green”.
On Friday, 27 April, 2012 our employees cleaned a protected area in Stary Haj, Petrzalka, where an original wildwood character of meadow forests still could be found.
This time again, the action was organized in cooperation with the organizations - Bratislava Nature Protection as well as State Nature Protection.
We supported Daffodil day for 10th time
13th April 2012, under the auspices of the League against Cancer, was held 15th year of successful non-profit financial collection under the name Daffodil Day.
League Against Cancer returns back collected funds to the public in the form of financing and implementing their own programs and projects for supporting cancer patients and the general public. However, very important is also the support of hospitals, hospices or palliative hospital wards.
For 10th time, we contributed by providing the luncheon vouchers for the volunteers involved in the collection during Daffodil Day.
Edenred as general partner of the conference "BIZNIS FÓRUM 2012"
This year, we participated in the conference BIZNIS FÓRUM organized by the company Sofisol as its general partner. The conference took place in April 4, 2012 in the hotel Holiday Inn in Bratislava. At the conference on the topic "Global recession - opportunity for the best" performed many successfull top managers from Slovakia and from Bohemia.
BIZNIS FÓRUM Conference is for those, who like a challenge and want to accelerate their professional career and would like to achieve great results.
Once more we participated in „Eden for all“ international charitable activity
5th of December 2011, Edenred organized 2nd year of „EDEN for all“ – the day dedicated to charitable activities all over the world!
Last year we helped in the homeless shelter within the „Eden for All“ initiative. This year, before the Saint Nicolas Day within the „Eden for All“ and our participation in the FOOD project, we supported the cooking lessons for the „teenager age“ kids from orphanages in Modra - Harmónia and Bratislava - Vrakuňa. The kids were instructed by the chefs of the cooking school „Chef Parade“ how to prepare some nice and healthy meals. Volunteers among our employees helped them with the preparation.
As the mentioned activity was held before the Saint Nicolas Day, all the kids from both orphanages received Saint Nicolas bags from our company.
We donated the new football outfit for all football team from flooded village Kochanovce
The last summer, during the floods the village Kochanovce lost local football field located near by the river Laborec.
Flooded river destroyed not only fencing, playing area, the whole green but also players clothes rooms.
This year, decided the football fans - mainly inhibitants of the village to return it its original image.
Our company lended a hand too. We donated the new football outfit for all football team. 25th of November, 2011 in spaces of our company took the football outfit the provost of Kochanovce - Mr. Miroslav Porochnavý.
We wish for players a lot of sporting success with this new outfit!
Edenred as general partner of the conference "IN FÓRUM 2011"
Also this year, we participated in the conference IN FÓRUM organized by the company Sofisol spol. s r.o. The conference took place on November 9, 2011 at the hotel DOUBLETREE BY HILTON in Bratislava under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour, Social Affairs and Family - Mr. Jozef Mihál. The theme of the conference was very interesting again - "Motivation - myth or reality?". At the conference performed many successfull top managers.
Objective of the 6th year of the conference wass to bring new and nontraditional solutions from the area of human resources management.

We are organizing HR breakfast for our clients
In 2011, we launched the project HR breakfast for our clients from the regions. Within the frame of good relations building, we are providing them practical advice on legislative matters and human resources by professionals. During the informal and interactive workshop, we exchange our work experiences.
HR breakfast took place in the regions around Slovakia - we started the action in Žilina, we continued in Košice, Zvolen, and we are already looking forward to the next October meeting in Nitra.
We supported „The week of blue button“ organized by UNICEF
The third week of May, from 16 to 22 May 2011 belonged for the seventh time to the nationwide collection The Week of blue button organized by children´s fund of UNICEF.
The collection proceeds to help children in South Sudan to gain basic education.
Also our company contributed by providing Ticket Restaurant® meal vouchers for organisational purposes of The Week of blue button.

We celebrated Earth Day again
Each year – on the occasion of Earth Day celebrations, members of the Edenred group are voluntarily participating in activities named „Edenred goes green“ aimed at environment protection.
15th April, our staff together with „Bratislavské regionálne ochranárske združenie“ (BROZ) planted trees in Bratislava´s floodplain forrest. The main objective was revitalization of this protected region.
We participated in "EDEN for all" activity
Edenred organized the first "EDEN for all" - a day dedicated to solidarity-based initiatives around the world!
This event was the first international expression of the group’s commitment as a socially responsible company. During this day, every Edenred employee was called upon to participate in solidarity activities.
Our employees didn’t hesitate and on Friday 10th of December, 2010 helped in the Saint Vincent Shelter for homeless people in Bratislava – they distributed clothes, cooked goulash and served the food for homeless.
We also supported the food for homeless people by providing them meal vouchers.

20th of October 2010 in hotel Arcadia in historical centre of Bratislava was held 5th annual of conference IN FÓRUM under the name "Human Resources - key to the success of your company" organized by Sofisol. The conference brought to their partners the view of innovative solutions how to effectively manage human resources.
Celebrating Earth Day
22nd April 2010 - during the International Earth Day, each year the Accor group organizes Earth Guest Day. Point is that members of group, which included also Accor services Slovakia, voluntarily participate in activities aimed to environmental protection.
Friday 23rd April, our staff together with colleagues from Ibis and Mercure hotels participated in garbage collecting around Castle Hill in Bratislava. The main objective was to clean the external areas of the city, thereby improving the housing quality of citizens.
We don't forget that actually the Earth is very charged in today's world, so we try to protect her sources throughout all year. Internally, we are continually introducing measures to protecting the environment; Earth Guest Day is just a kind of culmination of our effort.

16th April 2010, under the auspices of the League against Cancer, was held 14th year of successful non-profit financial collection under the name Daffodil Day. Upon the day you have the opportunity to meet in the streets of cities and villages young people who voluntarily spoken to you and offered you the leaflet and offered you the flower - the flower symbolizing solidarity, hope and a desire to help ... Adding to this collection, you did not help just financially, but you also gave the signal to organizer - League against cancer that you support its work and you agree with its activities.
We again - for 8th time, contributed by providing the luncheon vouchers for the volunteers involved in the collection during Daffodil Day.
Our participation in the "ČSOB Bratislava Marathon 2010"
On Sunday 28th March, took place, for the fifth time, ČSOB Bratislava Marathon 2010. Since the event was associated with several charitable projects and every participant provided 5 % of the collected entry fee to the Association for help to oncologic child patients, we decided - in accordance with the philosophy of our company - to contribute to the good thing too. Our sports - minded colleagues did not hesitate, they clothed business T - shirts and ultimately they occupied nice rankings. Relay delegated by Tomáš Filip, Dušan Hrnčiar, Ľubomír Vondráček and Miroslav Grožaj - came in beautiful 70th position from total 189 relays, which ran to finishing line.
Courageous Marek Bendik - who ran half marathon, is placed on 257th position from total 598 positioning in his category.
"Ticket Restaurant® as a partner of the project "City for Business 2009"
18th March 2010, as partner of the project „City for business 2009" declared by the National Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises in cooperation with the daily „Hospodárske noviny" we participated on the ceremony of results declaring. The winner - town Pezinok, which was chosen by evaluation of more than 70 criteria, selected as the most convenient for the business in 2009, many congratulations to the winner!
In the competition were included all the municipalities in the Slovak Republic with the status of the city - so it was assessed 138 of cities. The capital of Bratislava and Kosice were divided into different districts.
Through the agency „MVK", on approached circa 3 000 business subjects.

17th March 2010 took place in the Austria Trend Hotel Bratislava 16th year of the prestigious Czech - Slovak specialist congress under the name "New Trends in Personnel Management 2010" with the accompanying event - awarding prizes "HR Oscar Awards 2009" organized by the company Trenkwalder. Vis á vis the current situation on the labor market, the congress - marked by the spirit of HR and business processes too - was named "HR as BUSINESS PARTNER".
As we, in the company Edenred, are strongly oriented on the satisfaction of our clients, we could not miss the opportunity to gain valuable information about trends in the field of HR, as well as to present our innovative solutions in this area. Therefore we decided to support the Congress as its general partner. We also took this as an opportunity to introduce to broad public our innovative products and solutions which simplify the administration and bring many other benefits.

25th November 2009 in the beautiful premises of the hotel Arcadia in Bratislava was held 4th annual of conference IN FÓRUM under the name "Human Resources - retarder or engine of the society?" organized by the company Sofisol. The main purpose of the conference was to bring new solutions and suggestions how to effectively manage human resources. As a partner, we can confirm, that the objective of the conference was successfully accomplished.
Every year we celebrate Earth Day
22nd April 2009, we traditionally celebrated worldwide Earth Day. During Earth Day we participated in activities to show our positive relationship to nature. Not only for recognize how we are dependent on Earth and its resources, but mainly for appreciate these gifts, because they are not endless ...
Over this day, our staff voluntarily participated in the action "Clean up your neighborhood", organized by the quarter Ružinov. We removed the garbage from two playgrounds and cleaned up the City Business Center neighborhood and also space between streets Revúcka and Budovateľská. We did it for our children for they can play in clean and safe area.
